A native to western North Carolina, Zeno was born in Asheville and raised in nearby Canton. He attended Pisgah High, before obtaining a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, class of 2004. As planned since he was fifteen or so, Zeno went on to become an attorney, obtaining his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL, in 2007. Zeno is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the American Bar Association, The North Carolina Bar Association, the Asheville Downtown Association, Young Professionals of Asheville, the 28th District Bar, the Buncombe County Chamber of Commerce, and counting.

Zeno currently lives in downtown Asheville, with his sweet mutt, Daisy. He enjoys the many festivals, restaurants, musicians, artists, and people that make up this jewel in the mountains. He is very close with his family and enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews and nearby family members. You might find Zeno around town at various restaurants and breweries. He is somewhat of a nerd - loving Star Wars, 80's music, and all things James Bond. He's also a sports fan, supporting his UNC Tar Heels and other teams.
Brianna L. Buckingham
Prior to serving as the firm's senior paralegal, Brianna worked in Washington, D.C. operating primarily in federal tax law, defense, and international humanitarian policy. Her experience working for lobbying firms and non-profits in D.C. helps her appreciate the complexity and nuances of real estate, business, and contract law. This knowledge also helps her create unique strategies for our clients that best suits their needs.
Brianna graduated Cum Laude from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a degree in public policy. She was an active participant in campus and student life and received honors within her major, including induction into Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honors society. Before graduating, Brianna had a paper published in the school's political science academic journal, Open Water, regarding the conjunction of low-income housing and education policies.
Brianna was excited to make the move from Maryland to Asheville in 2014. She has really enjoyed learning real estate law as well as seeing Asheville grow.
Outside the office, she loves to spend time with her dog, Riley, and take advantage of everything Asheville has to offer.
Before joining the team at Lancaster Law Firm, Briar worked with numerous nonprofits in the area. She volunteers extensively with Our VOICE, the rape crisis center, and sits on the Board of Directors at Youth OUTright, which is a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate and empower LGBTQ youth living in Western North Carolina. She loves giving back to the community and is always willing to go the extra mile for her clients.
Briar graduated Cum Laude from UNC Asheville with a degree in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She was very involved in student life and was a member of many clubs as well as a sister of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She has always been interested in the law, and hopes to attend law school one day! In her free time, she loves to run, hike and read poetry.

Jennifer, born and raised in Germany, graduated from Kondrad Adenauer School with a degree in Business in 1993. After working in the Export Department of an international company, an innovative manufacturer of pressure and temperature measuring and control equipment for virtually all industries, for six years, she moved to the US in 1999, where she was fortunate to stay at home with her three sons for a few years. She then continued her career in logistics, working as an Import Coordinator in the Ocean Freight department for one of the leading Freight Forwarding Companies in the world. Her attention to detail and ability to keep her smile and demeanor in the most stressful situations made her a valuable employee to the company and she was able to build strong relationships with her customers. Her continuous drive for new challenges brought her to Asheville, where she recently joined the team as the firms new Title Abstractor.
In her free time, Jennifer loves exploring her new home in Asheville, enjoying the gorgeous mountain views and numerous outdoor activities as well as the diversity of local restaurants and breweries the area has to offer.
Adriana is the newest addition to the Lancaster Law Firm team. As Junior Associate, she advises clients on various real estate matters, primarily concerning the real estate closing process. Before joining Lancaster Law Firm, she spent a year doing public interest work for a nonprofit in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also worked at a small firm in Nashville, Tennessee while attending law school, where she was able to gain experience in various practice areas including both civil and criminal law, family law, and contract law.
Adriana was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico prior to attending law school. She graduated with BA’s in both Political Science and Spanish and completed a minor in Portuguese after spending a year abroad in Brazil. In 2016, she graduated from Vanderbilt Law School with her JD and a certification in business from Vanderbilt’s Law and Business program.
As a native Spanish speaker, Adriana loves to stay active and volunteer within the Hispanic/Latino community as much as possible. While in college, she served as a Board Member for Dual Language Education of New Mexico, has presented as a guest speaker at various national dual language education conferences, and served as President of Vanderbilt Law School’s Latino student organization, La Alianza.
In her free time, Adriana loves to spend time with her dog, Winston, try out new recipes, and explore the outdoors.
Lisa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.A. in Communication Studies in May of 2017. Before moving to Asheville in August, she spent her summer as a traveling journalist for the Appalachian Jamwich Magazine.
She now serves as the Office Administration and Receptionist for Lancaster Law Firm. Her role involves a variety of administrative duties and responsibilities that ensure the office runs smoothly and communications are directed appropriately.
While studying in college she worked as an Assistant Warehouse Manager and Trade Show Specialist for nationally renowned lifestyle brand, Home State Apparel. The company was founded in Greensboro, NC and inspired by the love for our home state of North Carolina. Her work for Home State Apparel allowed her to travel to trade shows in Orlando, Dallas and Atlanta where marketed the brand and her love of “home”.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys adventuring with her wonderful boyfriend, Eli, and rescue pit bull, Keller Williams, who is named after a one-man jam band. She also enjoys cooking vegetable based meals, crafting, writing and catching shows with her friends at local venues.
